Again another technique that has been devalued by the major search engines, directory submission can now be done using various tools in no time at all, so an SEO company charging a fortune for thousands of directory submissions is probably not going to get you great rankings.
Keyword Stuffing
There are some SEO companies that actually do things to hurt your site, things that could get you penalized by the search engines, this includes major keyword stuffing your Meta and your content or making the content invisible by hiding it behind a back round colour.
