Music In Schools

I was thinking back the other day to the times in which I was at school and we would simply run in and hit the nearest instruments in sight. I actually remember using tambourines in my music classes as a kid and really as far as I remember that was pretty much it. ipod- The Beginning of The end

The iPod was released on October 23 2001 and in its various formats has sold over 220,000,000.

One of the major reasons that the company decicded to tackle the market is they felt that the equipment available was pretty bad. Steve Jobs wanted to make something that people were actually proud to have in their pockets and something that looked a bit cool. Read the rest of this entry »

What was the reason for band not liking Guitar Hero?

The fact is that now many bands actually approach Activision and MTV to be in the games Guitar Hero and Rock Band but there was a time in which they had to go around begging bands to allow them to use the songs in the games themselves. This is more so for Guitar Hero when they were looking to release the first game as artists did not feel comfortable handing over master recordings to a company on the outside. on the plus side, bands allowed them to record covers for the game. Illegal Downloads Have Their Plus Sides

So it has been said that the people who are not ilegally downloading music are actually spending less on buying music than the people that are getting their music for free, mad right. If this really is happening then maybe the government should stop wasting their time and let it pass through.

One of the major reasons why this is happening is simply because there are many people out there who just want to download the album to have a listen to without actually having to buy it which I personally think it understandable. Read the rest of this entry »

With Guitar Hero 5 currently hitting the world wide gaming community has the game stopped people from being free to learn the actual musical instruments?
